David Andrew Seaman, MBE is a former England footballer who previously played as a goalkeeper. In a career that spanned from 1981 to 2004, he is best known for playing for Arsenal. He has made 75 appearances for the England national football team and is the second-most jersey goalkeeper in the country, behind Peter Shilton. In 1997, he was awarded MBE for his services to football. The culmination of Seaman's career came during his time as a goalkeeper for Arsenal and England in the 1990s and early 2000s. During his time with Arsenal, he won 3 league titles, 4 FA Cup, League Cup 1993 and European Cup Winners 'Cup in 1994. During this time, he also played for England in 1998 and 2002 FIFA World Cup and World Cups.' Euro 96 and Euro 2000 In addition to Arsenal, he also plays in the Premier League for Manchester City, as well as Football Federation appearances for Peterborough United, Birmingham City and Queens Park Rangers.
