Darold Durard Brown Ferguson Jr., known as ASAP Ferg, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from the Harlem neighborhood of New York City. In addition to his solo career, he is also a member of hip hop group A $ AP Mob, where he signed a recording contract with Polo Grounds and RCA, the same label that helped launch A $ AP Worldwide. Two years ago Ferg's A $ AP Mob group, A $ AP Rocky, and A $ AP Yams negotiated their own contracts in 2011. Their debut studio album Trap Lord was released on August 20, 2013 and received a positive note. On April 22, 2016, Ferg's released their second studio album, Always Strive and Prosper. On August 18, 2017, Ferg released their third studio album, Still Striving. His first EP Seat will be released on August 16, 2019
