Aarón Sánchez is a famous Mexican chef, restaurant owner, TV personality, cookbook author and philanthropist. He is the executive chef and co-owner of the Mexican restaurant Johnny Sánchez in New Orleans. He starred in the hit series Chopped and Chopped Jr. Food Network and host of Cooking Channel Emmy-nominated Journey Taco. He appeared on the American Iron Chef and was one of the few chefs whose battle ended in a draw, fighting Masaharu Morimoto in “Battle Black Bass” in Season 2. He was also a contender on The Next Iron Chef. He is the author of two cookbooks and published a dissertation on October 1, 2019. An active philanthropist, Sánchez launched the Aarón Sánchez Scholarship Foundation, an initiative for aspiring chefs from the Latin community to follow. their dreams and attend a cooking school.
