After her main performance in Somersault 2004, Cornish is known for her film roles as Fanny Brawne in Bright Star, Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch, Lindy in Limitless, as Sarah in Geostorm and collaborating with the writer / director. Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths and Three Billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri. For the latter, Cornish won his first Screen Actor Association Award as part of the cast. In 2018, she played the role of Cathy Mueller in the first season of the Jack Ryan Amazon Video franchise opposite John Krasinski.
