About Adam Rippon
A figure skater from the United States who won gold at the 2016 US Figure Skating Championships. In 2018, he won a bronze medal as part of the team event and became the first openly gay U.S. male athlete to win a medal at the Winter Olympics. In 2018, he became a judge on Dancing with the Stars: Juniors after winning Season 26 of Dancing with the Stars.
Adam Rippon is a former American figure skater. He won the 2010 Four Continents Championship and the 2016 US National Championship. Earlier in his career, he had won the 2008 and 2009 World Youth Championship, the 2007-08 Youth Grand Prix final, and the 2008 United States Teenagers National title. Rippon was selected. to represent the United States at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. At the 2018 Olympic Winter Games, Rippon won a bronze medal for the figure skating team. Later that year, he won Dancing with the Stars season 26 with professional dancer Jenna Johnson. Rippon announced his retirement from figure skating in November 2018.
