After joining with the WWE in early 2012, he earned the moniker"The Drama King".
Matthew Rehwoldt was America's best-known professional wrestler and broadcaster during his time in WWE, where he performed under the stage name Aiden English. Rehwoldt signed a development contract with WWE in 2012 and was assigned to Florida Championship Wrestling farm territory and later to NXT. In NXT, he formed a tag team named The Vaudevillains alongside Simon Gotch, winning the NXT Tag Tag Team Championship. They were called up to the main lineup in 2016, but the team ended up in 2017 when Gotch was released. The English language was then paired with the Rusev, which began an act which is every day "Rusev Day". In 2019, he became a host on 205 Live and NXT UK in 2020. Rehwoldt left WWE in 2020 and is currently working on independent circuits. In addition to wrestling, Rehwoldt has launched the social media campaign “Rough Cuts” for the unfinished artwork and the “Wrestling With Whiskey” project on YouTube.
