Che Wolton Grant, known by the stage name AJ Tracey, is an English rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. He is from Ladbroke Grove, West London. Tracey went viral in 2016, and was listed by The Guardian on their list of "Best New Artists to Watch at Festivals 2016". Tracey's first consumer EP, Protect the bag! entered the UK Album Chart at number thirteenth. In 2018, Tracey released the single "Butterflies" with British singer Not3s, a commercial breakthrough, reaching the top 20 of the UK Singles Chart. Her debut album of the same name, released in 2019 by Warner Records, has received critical acclaim and peaked at number 3 on the UK Album Chart. He performed his highest single as a solo artist, "Ladbroke Grove", reaching third place on the UK Singles Chart and certified platinum by BPI.
