Allan Jaffee is an American comic artist. He was noticed for his work on Mad Fold's satirical magazine, including his autographed article, Mad Fold-in. Jaffee has been a regular contributor to the magazine for 65 years and is the magazine's longest serving contributor. In a 2010 interview, Jaffee said, "Serious people my age are dead." With a career spanning from 1942-2020, Jaffee holds the Guinness World Record for having the longest cartoon-drawing career. For half a century from April 1964 to April 2013, a single edition of Mad was published without any new material from Jaffee. In 2008, Jaffee was honored at the Reuben Awards as Designer of the Year. New York cartoonist Arnold Roth said: "Al Jaffee is one of the great designers of our time." Describing Jaffee, Charles M. Schulz, creator of Peanuts, writes: "Al can draw anything".
