Alain Fabien Maurice Marcel Delon is a French actor and businessman. He is known as one of Europe's foremost actors and on-screen sex symbols from 1960 to 1970. He was critically acclaimed for his roles in films such as Rocco and his Brothers, Plein Soleil, L'Eclisse, Leopard, The yellow Rolls-Royce, Lost Command and Le Samouraï. During his career, Delon has worked with many famous directors, including Luchino Visconti, Jean-Luc Godard, Jean-Pierre Melville, Michelangelo Antonioni and Louis Malle. He became a Swiss citizen in 1999 .
