Alexander Honnold is an American climber famous for his massive free-of-charge wall-climbing, especially El Capitan alone, at Yosemite National Park in 2017. Honnold is the only one to climb El Capitan one. I'm free and the fastest climber among the Yosemite Triple Crown, an 18 hour and 50 minute link between Watkins Mountain, the Half Dome's usual Cape and Northwest Face. Honnold says that he likes long and long routes and tries to do them quickly. He is the author of the memoir Alone on the Wall and the subject of the 2018 biographical documentary Free Solo, which won the BAFTA and Academy Awards. Honnold said he was inspired by climbers like Peter Croft, John Bachar, Tommy Caldwell and even more by stunning locations like El Capitan.
