Alex James Rance is a former Australian professional footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football Federation. Rance is the best player, five times all over Australia, the former captain of Australia, once won the Richmond's Best and Fairest award and is widely regarded as one of the greatest defenders of his time. During the three seasons from 2017 to 2019, he was also the deputy teammate of AFL Richmond.
