British-Thai racing driver best known for his time with Red Bull Racing in Formula One. In 2018, he made his Formula One debut by finishing third in the FIA Formula 2 Championship on his way to being promoted to Formula One.
Alexander Albon Ansusinha is a Thai and British racing driver, currently competing in the Formula 1 racing tournament for Red Bull Racing, under the Thai flag. He played for Toro Rosso in the first half of 2019, before being promoted to Red Bull in the second half of the season, replacing Pierre Gasly, who returned to Toro Rosso. After joining the Red Bull Junior Team in 2012, he was promoted to drive open wheel drive in seat form with EPIC Racing in 2012 season Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, placing 38th out of 49 in debut. He continued to play at Formula Renault 2.0 for two more seasons after securing a seat with KTR, finishing 16th in 2013 and third in 2014. In 2015, Albon moved to compete Formula 3 Europe, ranked 7th overall. A year later, ART hired Albon to join Charles Leclerc in the GP3 Series, finishing second in the racing championship race ahead of his teammates.
