Alison Marion Lohman is a former American actress. Best known for her work in the 2000s, she made her breakthrough playing Astrid in the film White Oleander, for which she won the Hollywood Youth Award. Lohman has appeared in the films The Man Who Sells the Game, Big Fish, Beowulf, Things We Lost in the Fire and Drag Me to Hell; Lohman received particular praise for his roles in Matchstick Men and Drag Me to Hell, whose roles have since received nominations for the Saturn Awards and MTV Awards. She also voiced the main character in the English dub of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind and directed the series Tucker and Pasadena.
