Alistair Daniel Brammer is an English actor best known for playing Jean Prouvaire in both the 2010 specials Les Misérables: the 25th Anniversary and in the 2012 musical Les Miserables. Performing the 25th anniversary of Miss Saigon. Originally from Exmouth, Devon, Brammer is the youngest of a family of 7 children. In 2005, he was one of 35 students from across the UK chosen to attend the 20th Anniversary of Les Misérables at the Queen's Theater in the West End. In 2008, while a student at Exeter College, he entered the Any Dream Will Do competition and was on the list of the last 20 applicants, although he was not selected for the program. However, Bill Kenwright, judge of Any Dream Will Do, asked him to take part in Joseph's 2008–2009 UK tour and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, where he played the role of Zebulon and looked after Benjamin and Joseph. . In 2009, he made his West End debut as Marius in Les Misérables, where he spent 18 months on the role.
