She was arrested by the FBI in Brooklyn on April 20, 2018, on charges of sex trafficking, conspiracy to sex trafficking, and conspiracy to force labor in connection with her role in the NXIVM organization. Mack pleaded guilty to the fraud allegations in April 2019 and is awaiting a conviction.
