This Mexican-American conductor is most known for creating and leading the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas. He previously served as creative director of the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra. Travieso Carmesi and the platinum-certified CD Mi Alma Mexicana are among her recordings.

Alondra de la Parra is a Mexican-American conductor and is currently the Music Director of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, the first female conductor of the Australian Symphony Orchestra. De la Parra is also Mexico's official cultural ambassador.
