Amos Yee Pang Sang, also known as Amos Yee, is a Singaporean blogger, former Youtuber and former actor who is currently awaiting trial in the United States for child pornography. The trial date has been set for December 18, 2020. At the end of March 2015, shortly after the death of Singapore's first prime minister, Lee Kuan Yew, Yee posted a video critical of Lee on YouTube. In the video, Yee compared Lee to Jesus and threw the two into the light considered obscene and disrespectful. Yee also posted pictures of Lee and Margaret Thatcher having anal sex on her blog. There were a total of 32 police reports against Yee and he was arrested in Singapore and charged with "intending to harm a Christian's religious feelings", obscenity and "intimidation, abuse or insult communication ".
