Jennifer McCarthy Wahlberg is an American actress, model, activist, media personality and author. She began her career in 1993 as a nude model for Playboy magazine and went on to be named Playboy of the Year. McCarthy went on to pursue an acting career in television and film, starting as a co-host of the MTV Singled Out game series, followed by sitcoms of the same name including Jenny and Donnie Loves Jenny, as well as movies like BASEketball, Scream 3, Dirty Love John Tucker Must Die and Santa Baby. In 2013, she hosted her own TV talk show The Jenny McCarthy Show, and co-hosted the ABC chat show The View, which appeared until 2014. Since 2019, McCarthy is a judge of the show Fox Music Competition The Masked Singer. McCarthy has written a number of books on parenting and encourages research into the environmental causes and alternative medical treatments for autism.
