The Houston Texans drafted him third overall in the 2003 NFL draft. He led the NFL in receiving yards in 2008 and 2009, then in 2015, he joined the Indianapolis Colts after spending his first 12 seasons in Houston. In 2016, he signed with the Tennessee Titans.

Andre Lamont Johnson is a former American footballer who played for most of his 14-year career with the Houston Texans in the National Football League. He played college football in Miami and was ranked third overall by Team Texas in the 2003 NFL Draft. He ranks 11th all-time in NFL career receptions and NFL hostels. Johnson holds almost all of the Texas admissions records. He is also a member of the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans. Over the course of his career, Johnson has appeared in the Pro Bowl seven times, on five All-Pro teams, and has become one of the NFL's most productive wide-format receivers of the 21st century
