Andrés Cepeda is a famous Colombian singer and songwriter. He was born in Bogotá, the youngest of five children. He has shown a fondness for music since childhood and has been studying the piano since the age of 5. He composed his first work at the age of 12. He studied at Colegio San Carlos then at Colegio Emilio Valenzuela. His musical career began as the lead singer of Poligamia, a Latin rock-pop group he formed with friends during his teenage years. After the disbandment of Poligamia, Cepeda continued his musical career as a solo artist, finding success in different musical genres such as bolero and Balada, among other romantic genres. His album El carpintero achieved four times more platinum sales in Colombia.
