Angela Jones is an American actress. She was born in Greensburg, Pa., Then raised in Jeannette, Pa., Where she graduated in 1986. She graduated from Point Park College in Pittsburgh. While attending graduate school at the Oslo Conservatory of Performing Arts in Sarasota, Florida, Jones was cast in the short film Curdled, directed by Reb Braddock. Quentin Tarantino was impressed with her performance and gave her the role of Esmeralda Villalobos in Pulp Fiction, based on her previous role. Tarantino went on to produce a remake of Curdled in 1996, in which she also starred. In the 2007 rock musician Slash biography, Slash mentions that while recording the soundtrack for the film Curdled, the two had a brief relationship. Jones was the inspiration for Slash's "Obsession Confession" which he wrote for the Curdled soundtrack, with Slash stating that he and his band were fascinated by her after seeing her in Pulp Fiction.
