Ann Curry is an American journalist and photojournalist, having spent over 30 years as a journalist, focusing on human suffering in war zones and natural disasters. Curry has reported on the wars in Kosovo, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Afghanistan, Darfur, Congo and the Central African Republic. Curry mentioned numerous disasters, including the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and the 2010 Haitian earthquake, where his Twitter call topped Twitter's `` strongest '' list, recorded for having contributed to accelerating the appearance of humanitarian planes.
