Anna Lee Fisher is an American chemist, emergency doctor and former NASA astronaut. Previously married to astronaut Bill Fisher and mother of two, in 1984, she became the first mother in space. During her career at NASA, she has been involved in three major programs: the Space Shuttle, the International Space Station and the Orion spacecraft.
