Continuing her early career in musical theater, she is known for her role as Chelsea Daniels in That So Raven, a role she played in the sequel to Raven's Home. Van der Pol also has a singing career and has recorded several songs for The Walt Disney Company. She made her Broadway debut in 2007, and appeared on Off-Broadway in 2009. She also starred in the 2010 Vampires Suck, directed by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer.
