John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Polaroid photo of Leibovitz, taken five hours before Lennon's murder, is considered one of Rolling Stone magazine's most popular cover photos. The Library of Congress declares her a living legend and she was the first woman to exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington.
