About Annie Thorisdottir

World champion and professional CrossFit athlete. In 2011 and 2012, she became the first woman to win the CrossFit Games twice. She was the founder and owner of CrossFit Reykjavik. She has served as a Reebok ambassador.

Anníe Mist Þórisdóttir is a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavík, Iceland. She is a co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik, where she also trains and coaches. Anníe is the first woman to ever win CrossFit Games. She finished second at CrossFit Games 2010 and 2014. She did not play in 2013 due to injury and quit CrossFit Games 2015 due to heatstroke. She is third at CrossFit Games 2017. Anníe trains four hours a day, six days a week and also has experience as a gymnast, ballet dancer and pole dancer. She is 1m70 tall, weighs about 67kg and has aspirations to enter the medical profession. She has one daughter, Freyja, born in August 2020 .
