Callea's first single, Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli's cover of "The Prayer" is the best-selling single by an Australian artist, No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for five weeks, a record for the debut single by Australian Idol competitor, and the second best-selling single in Australia in the last decade. Callea has amassed a series of accolades including the ARIA Music Awards, Channel V Artist of the Year, Pop Republican Artist of the Year, MTV Viewer Choice Award, Young Award of the Year of Variety magazine, MO Awards and Gospel Music Awards and known for his powerful trained voice and versatility across a wide variety of genres in both releases and live performances. All the songs except for the one from his second album A New Chapter were co-composed by him.
