About Antonio Giovinazzi
Italian racing driver best known for finishing second in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship in 2015. He's also recognized for being a member of the Sauber racing team. In 2019, he joined Alfa Romeo as a full-time racer.
Antonio Maria Giovinazzi is an Italian racer currently competing Formula 1 for Alfa Romeo Racing. He was a finalist at the 2015 FIA Formula 3 European Championship and competed against Prema in the 2016 GP2 Series, again coming in second with five wins and eight podium finishes. Giovinazzi was selected by Scuderia Ferrari as the third reserve racer for the 2017 season. He made his debut for Sauber at the 2017 Australian Grand Prix, replacing the injured Pascal Wehrlein. He also replaced Wehrlein at the next Chinese Grand Prix as Wehrlein continued to recover. Giovinazzi signed a full time racing contract for Alfa Romeo Racing in 2019.
