April Janet Pearson is an English actress. Born and raised in Bristol, Pearson was drawn to the theater from an early age and appeared in local plays as a child. She made her debut in 1998 when she was only 9 years old in the British medical drama Casualty, and gained even greater recognition for her breakout portrayal as impressive teen Michelle Richardson in the series. teen drama E4 Skins, for which she was nominated for a Gold Capsule. Best Actress in a TV Series at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival. She then made her film debut when she starred in Jon Wright's comedy thriller Tormented. Pearson followed that up with her Bristol Old Vic debut as Jemma in Catherine Johnson's Suspension; production centered around the Clifton Suspension Bridge and neighboring Avon Gorge hotel, and Callie's role in Rachel Sternberg and Jemma Wayne's Negative Space, in which she received praise for both performances.
