She was mistakenly given the crown of Miss Universe by Steve Harvey before Harvey apologized and crowned Miss Philippines as the true Miss Universe. She went on to compete in Celebrity Big Brother as a finalist.

She married DJ Cedric Gervais in 2019, however the couple eventually divorced. She dated Ali Jassim, an entrepreneur, in 2020.
