Arthur Steven Lange Jr. is a famous American comedian, actor and radio actor best known for his tenure in the Mad TV sketch series from 1995 to 1997 and The Howard Stern Show from 2001 to 2009. Huge Up in New Jersey, Lange worked as beach driver and taxi driver for the first time to help his family, after the death of his quadriplegic father. It debuted as a freelance comic in 1987 and followed a full-time career five years later, expanding its operations in the New York area. In 1995, Lange moved to Los Angeles to star in Mad TV. His arrest for cocaine possession in the second season resulted in his death and subsequent re-education. In 1997, Norm Macdonald chose Lange to star in his comedy Dirty Work, which secured Lange other roles, including Macdonald's sitcom The Norm Show.
