Arvind Kejriwal is an Indian politician and former civil servant, currently Delhi's 7th Prime Minister since February 2015. He was also Delhi chief from December 2013 to February 2014, stepping down after 49 days in office. Currently, he is the national organizer of the Aam Aadmi Party, which won Delhi's 2015 legislative elections with a historic majority, winning 67 out of 70 parliamentary seats. In 2006, Kejriwal received the Ramon Magsaysay Award for Excellence in Leadership in recognition of his participation in the Parivartan popular use of information rights in the government's anti-corruption campaign. That same year, after resigning from government service, he donated his Magsaysay Prize as a financial fund to the Public Cause Research Foundation, an NGO. Prior to joining politics, Kejriwal worked at the Indian Internal Revenue Service as co-commissioner in charge of income tax in New Delhi.
