Well-known composer of classical and liturgical music. Tintinnabuli was his own compositional style. His tintinnabuli approach, which was similar to bell ringing, was best displayed in his 1978 piece"Spiegel am Spiegel".

Arvo Pärt is an Estonian classical and religious composer. Since the late 1970s, Pärt has worked in a minimalist style using his own patented composing technique, the tintinnabuli. Pärt's music is partly inspired by Gregorian hymns. His most performed works include Fratres, Spiegel im Spiegel and Für Alina. From 2011 to 2018, Pärt was the world's most performed live composer and second most performed in 2019. The Arvo Pärt Center in Laulasmaa was opened to the public in 2018.
