Ashley Force Hood is a former Top Fuel Funny Car racer for John Force Racing. She is the daughter of 16-time NHRA National Champions Top Fuel Funny Car, John Force and Laurie Force. She is married to Daniel Hood, who works for John Force Racing. She interrupted the race in 2011 as the couple were expecting their first child. Since their child was born, Force Hood announced his retirement from playing. Force was named the Rookie of the NHRA POWERade Tractor Series in November 2007. On April 27, 2008, Force announced his first NHRA Professional Class victory, beating his father in the final round of NHRA Summit Nationals was held at the Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, GA, becoming the first woman to achieve a TF / FC victory
