Austin George Carr is a former American professional basketball player who played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks and Washington Bullets of the National Basketball Association. He is called "Mr. Cavalier" by Cleveland fans. He was part of the Notre Dame team that beat the UCLA Bruins on January 19, 1971, which was UCLA's last loss until it was beaten exactly three years later by Notre- Dame, breaking a record 88 wins in NCAA Bruins men's basketball.
