Elizabeth Madden is the American Olympic horse racing champion in the jump rope competition. She has two Olympic gold medals and a team silver medal and an individual bronze medal. She has twice won the FEI Show Jumping World Cup; won two silver and two bronze at the world championship; and won two gold medals, one silver and two bronze medals at the Pan American Games. She is the first American to reach the top three in the international dance show rankings and is the first woman to win more than $ 1 million in dance show awards. She competed in the Athens Olympics in 2004, winning the gold team for the United States; at the 2008 Beijing Olympics won the team and individual gold medals; at the London 2012 Olympic Games; and at the Rio 2016 Olympics, the team won the silver medal. She and her husband John Madden own and operate John Madden Sales, a business that sells and trains horses, in Cazenovia, New York.
