Isobel Dorothy Powley is an English actress. Daughter of British actor Mark Powley, Powley was born and raised in London, where she was educated at Holland Park School. She started working as a teenager in television, starring in CBBC's action drama M.I. High, the television series Little Dorrit, the crime series Murderland and the ITV sitcom Benidorm. In 2015, she received critical acclaim for her role as Princess Margaret in A Royal Night Out, she was nominated for the British Independent Film Award for Most Promising Newcomer, and A Year's lack of confusion over sex in the movie The Diary. of Teenage Girl, she won the Gotham Independent Film Award for Best Actress and the Trophee Chopard Award at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She starred in the films Mary Shelley, White Boy. Rick, Ashes in the Snow, The King of Staten Island and on Apple TV + the drama The Morning Show.
