Jeremie Damon Pennick, known as Benny the Butcher, is an American rapper from Buffalo, New York. He was part of the hip hop group Griselda with regular collaborators and early cousins ​​Westside Gunn and Conway The Machine. He is also a member of the Black Soprano Family collective. On November 14, 2020, Pennick was shot in the leg in Houston, Texas during an attempted robbery. He was officially released the next morning and is expected to make a full recovery.
