Beverley Knight, is an English artist and musical theater actress who released her debut album, The B-Funk, in 1995. Heavily influenced by icons of soul music. American like Sam Cooke and Aretha Franklin, Knight has released eight studio albums. Widely known as one of Britain's greatest soul singers, Knight is best known for his hit singles "Greatest Day", "Get Up!", "Shoulda Woulda Coulda" and "Come Come. as You Are ”. In 2006, Knight solidified her transition to mainstream film by starring in the BBC music drama Just the Two of Us, a role she reappeared in 2007. After releasing a platinum synthesis album in 2006, Knight toured the UK with the reformed Take That. She also hosted four series of Beverley's Gospel Nights on BBC Radio 2, exploring the origins and impact of gospel music. To date, the show has run for four seasons and has had interviews with stars like Michelle Williams and Shirley Caesar.
