Beverly Archer is an American actress perhaps best known for her television roles Iola Boylen in Mama's Family and Gunnery Sgt. Alva Bricker about Grandpa. She has appeared in other shows such as The Young and the Restless, ALF, and the film project: ALF, as well as many other guests. She also wrote three volumes of ALF. She played a professor of theft in The Brady Bunch Movie, who was captured by Bobby Brady. She also appeared in two episodes Married ... with Children as Ms. Hardaway, a sexually repressed librarian and Bud's romantic moderators. Additionally, she appeared on an episode of Full House in 1994, where she acted as a supervisor on the unfriendly SAT test. She has appeared in episodes of Grace Under Fire, Family Ties, and The Fall Guy. She played the role of Nancy Walker's daughter on The Nancy Walker Show.
