Billy Joe Saunders is a professional British boxer. He has held world championships in two weight classes, including the WBO super-medium title since 2019, and before that the WBO midsize title from 2015 to 2018. Saunders was the first fighter in Travel community become world class two weight champion. Regionally, he held the European, UK and Commonwealth midrange titles from 2012 to 2015. Saunders represented the UK at the 2008 Olympics as an industrialist. The same year, he won the gold medal at the European Championship.
