Robert Allen Zimmerman is his full name. On November 22, 1965, he married Sara Dylan; after their divorce on June 29, 1977, he married Carolyn Dennis on June 4, 1986. He is the father of three daughters and three sons. Jakob, one of his kids, also became a singer and guitarist.
