Robert Allen Iger is an American businessman, executive chairman, chairman of the board and former managing director of The Walt Disney Company. Previously, he was President of ABC Television from 1994 to 1995 and President / COO of Capital Cities / ABC from 1995 until the acquisition of Disney in 1996. Iger was appointed President / CEO of the operating Disney in 2000 and succeeding Michael Eisner as CEO in 2005.
