Bradley Kent Stevens is an American professional basketball coach and former college player and head coach of the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association. Born and raised in Zionsville, Indiana, Stevens played on the Zionsville Community High School basketball team, setting four school records. After graduating from high school, he attended DePauw University, where he played basketball and earned a degree in economics. He has been part of the group for lectures on several occasions and has been nominated three times for the All-American Academy. He became a coach after quitting his job with Eli Lilly and Company, joining the Butler University basketball program as a 2000–01 preseason volunteer. He was promoted to full-time assistant coach the following season. After five seasons, he assumed the head coach position on April 4, 2007, after Todd Lickliter left to coach the Iowa Hawkeyes.
