In 2014, he was cast for the recurring role of Ray Palmer / The Atom in the Arrow TV series. He then played this role in two other series of the Arrowverse shared universe: The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. Routh also reprized his role as Superman in the Arrowverse 2019 Crossover event "Crisis on Infinite Earths". Her role in Legends of Tomorrow ends in 2020
