Former New Zealand captain and one of the best batsmen in the history of the Black Caps. He was the first New Zealander to reach a triple century and finished his career with the second-most Test runs in the country's history. In all three formats of the game, he was captain.
Brendon Barrie McCullum is a New Zealand coach, commentator and former cricketer who has played all forms and is also a former captain of all his forms. McCullum also scored fast for test matches, including recording the fastest experimental century ever. He is considered one of the most successful bats and captains in New Zealand cricket. He retired from all cricket form in August 2019. McCullum is the former Twenty20 international cricket racing top scorer and the first and so far the only one to have scored twenty20 centuries international and 2000 international T20 races. He became the first New Zealander to score three hundred points in a test, 302 races against India on February 18, 2014. In 2014, he also became the first New Zealander to reach 1,000 tries in a calendar year. The record was surpassed by Kane Williamson with 1172 races in 2015
