Brett Lewis Anderson is an English singer-songwriter best known as the lead singer and lyricist for the band Suede. After Suede disbanded in 2003, he briefly introduced The Tears in 2004 and released four solo albums, in which he also played the guitar and keyboard. Anderson is known for his distinctive and varied voice, poetic lyrics, energetic and charismatic stage appearances, and in Suede's early days for his androgynous appearance. Suede was reformed in 2010 and continues to record and tour.
