She is the youngest artist signed to Missy Elliott's The Goldmind Inc. label as well as the youngest person associated with Slip-N-Slide Records, the home of rappers Trina and Rick Ross. Perry debuted on Trina's Diamond Princess album on the song "Kandi". Since then, she has released several mixtapes and starred in the reality drama Sisterhood of Hip Hop. In 2016, Brianna left the main record label Atlantic Records due to little promotion and went to independent company Poe Boy Entertainment.
