Bridgit Claire Mendler is an American actress, singer and songwriter. In 2004, she began her career in the Indian animated film The Legend of Buddha, after which she starred in the films Alice Upside Down, The Clique, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel and Labor Pains while she was still a teenager. In 2009, Mendler signed with Disney Channel and played Juliet van Heusen on Wizards of Waverly Place. After a positive reception for her character, she took on the role of Teddy Duncan in Disney's Good Luck Charlie series, which ran from April 2010 to February 2014. Mendler also starred in the original film Lemonade. Mouth of the Disney Channel in 2011. Then, Mendler played Candace in the NBC sitcom Undatable and Ashley Willerman in the Nashville musical television series.
