Brock Alan Osweiler is a former American football midfielder. He played college football at Arizona State University and was started by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft. In his fourth year with the Broncos, Osweiler was a member of the team that won Super Bowl 50 against the Carolina Panthers. This season marked his first appearance as a starter, relieving injured Peyton Manning, with whom he served as a substitute for his first three years. After the Broncos title win, Osweiler signed a four-year, $ 72 million contract with the Houston Texans, but struggled with the team and threw 16 franchise-record interceptions. He was traded to the Cleveland Browns, but was later released before the 2017 season and re-signed with the Broncos, with whom he went on to start five games. Osweiler went on to play 2018 against the Miami Dolphins, appearing in seven games.
